Fanatics, what a show we have for you tonight. Engineer X is away on vacation so Engineer Jose is on hand to guide us through the cornucopia of musical delights we have in great abundance. It was to my great disappointment that my new Bellari analog to digital device that works so well came with the wrong power source that made everything buzz and didn’t allow me to create a show that contained more rare vinyl cuts but the new power source is on its way and hopefully will allow me to put together a very eclectic show for next week that I think you will like. But Fanatics, that’s the future, let’s talk about tonight, shall we? A few bands make their Harmony In My Head debut tonight, always cool to do. Check it out, Boris is finally on the show, Pankrti, my one Punk Rock single from Ljubljana, Slovenia, I thought they were from Pakistan until I was corrected by a Fanatic writing in. The first time I ever played in Ljubljana was in 1987 and hung out with members of Laibach post show, very cool. Also, we have The Dangermen from Australia and a few others part our waters for the first time, not so bad. The Pankrti track has a slight buzz, it was my first attempt to work with my new component. I am so stoked to be playing this single that I am putting up with the slight buzz on the track, I hope it does not distract. I learned about Koala when I was online checking out Crushed Butler. We have not rocked a Matthew Payne track in awhile and I thought it would sit in well with the other stuff we have lined up. If you notice, it’s a very heavy play list tonight, a lot of speaker flapping fare, I hope that works for you. I have played these songs in sequence for a few nights now and it’s sounding good so I hope you enjoy or at least somehow endure tonight’s broadcast. ALSO THIS: I will be taking over Steve Jones 12 to 2 pm. slot next week from Tuesday the 10th to Friday the 13th. That means I will be doing a double shift on Tuesday. That will be cool. I will do my best to keep the music interesting and somewhat digestible for the day time audience. I already have some play lists in my mind that I will be fleshing out over the weekend.
