Fanatics, I believe I warned you that this broadcast would be another exercise in extremes. Welcome to the Jazz Juggernaut! Last week, 59 tracks, tonight 6. Hah! As minimal as this one is, it’s easily one of our best shows this year. This is what it’s all about Fanatics! This is some amazing music and I hope for nothing more than to inspire some ears that are unfamiliar to this music to become ever so curious.

On a hopeful note, I guess I’m still in Burma, heading out tomorrow to Thailand and from there to Taipei and then back to America for at least three days.

You know, you could spend a great deal of time delving into the vast pools of genius and innovation of the six artists featured tonight. This is one of the pithiest broadcasts ever. Why, it’s not just a broadcast, Breaker, Breaker, it looks like we’ve got ourselves a JAZZ JUGGERNAUT!!!!
