It’s a Saturday night at the mix, Fanatics! I am backstage in Albany NY, getting ready to go out and do the show. It’s Friday night, Halloween. It’s always interesting doing a show on this night. I have done many. When it’s a band show, you can count on people tripping and all kinds of behavior. At the talking shows, it’s the occasional costume. I wonder what will greet me tonight. Now, this show of ours, here is what we have: a lot of really cool singles that I think you will like. I know many of you are very familiar with a lot of these songs so it’s not like we’re on an exploratory mission tonight. I have so much interesting and out there music for you all which I will broadcast when this tour is over in a few weeks when I am back in LA for a minute. I love this set we have for tonight and it should be a good starter kit for whatever Joe Sib is going to lay on you when he hits the airwaves right after our little thing is done. I hope you all are adapting to the Saturday night shift. I have not as I often forget to get the notes together. I will do my best to get used to it. I do believe I feel a Buzzcocks binge coming on as the first three albums of the band were just re-issued with a ton of bonus tracks. I got the CDs weeks ago from a pal at EMI and have been in Buzzcocks heaven. I think we might have to devote an evening to some of the rare tracks they included and some of the ones they didn’t that I have. So, get ready for that one.
