Fanatic! I hope you have a great weekend planned. For me, it’s going to be a lot of records and writing.
A few days ago, I got to do something cool. I was allowed to go into the building that used to be Elektra Records in Los Angeles. This is the place where Fun House by the Stooges was recorded almost 50 years ago. The recording room is now a conference room with a long table and flat screen television on the far wall. The control room is now a small kitchen area. I’ve driven by the building many times over the decades and always wondered what it looked like in there.
We have a lot of new music on the show. There’s a bunch of great records out now and more coming out later this year. RSD 2020 has some great releases and two in particular that I put together with Larry Hardy of In The Red Records that we’re very excited about. When we get closer to the date, I’ll tell you all about it.
